Special Campaign Kickoff Event: Friday, November 8, 2013, 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., extended hours for viewing the "Harmon of Michigan" Exhibit, and, at 5:00 p.m. “Michigan Football Firsts,” a special presentation using original documents, photographs, and publications from the University of Michigan archives to highlight some of the notable firsts across 134 years of Michigan football.

Two great locations, two open house opportunities. Escape a chilly November day and warm up with spiced apple cider in the tropical conservatory at Matthaei Botanical Gardens or celebrate the season with a hike and warm beverage at Nichols Arboretum. At Matthaei, tour our plant collections and view the extensive "Legacy of the Land through Art" exhibit. If you're feeling hardy and nostalgic about "The Arb," stop into the Reader Center for some hot cider and a map, and then take to the trails.
