Parent Gifts

As a Michigan parent, you can enrich the student experience by helping to support a wide array of programs across campus. Gifts can be designated for a student’s college, academic department, athletic team, club, or other activity officially recognized by the Division of Student Affairs. You can also support such rewarding elements of student life as MLibrary, the University Musical Society, Matthaei Botanical Gardens, and Nichols Arboretum.  Leading issues that resonate with parents include scholarship support, study abroad opportunities and school, college or unit support.

The Parent & Family Giving program Leadership Council is comprised of our leading parent donors who serve as knowledgeable volunteers by assisting in the identification and cultivation of potential parent and family donors.  They also are knowledgeable about University activities and provide guidance on their particular community's social and business culture and on effective ways to engage local parents.

For more information regarding our program or a parent gift, please contact Matt Burrows, Director of Parent and Family Giving, at or (734) 647-1940.
