Parent & Family Giving — Leadership Council

“There is no better way to help a young woman or man’s prospects than to make an education at the University of Michigan accessible to them. We are happy to be able to help provide this support and also serve as university volunteers on the Washtenaw County Council and Parent Council.”
Patrick Doyle and Techy Rodriguez-Doyle, parents of Catherine ’16 and Julia ’18

The University of Michigan Parent & Family Leadership Council is a university-wide volunteer network created and supported by the U-M Office of University Development. Members of the council represent the interests of families of students across the university. They will be knowledgeable about university activities and assist in the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of potential parent and family donors. Additionally, council members will be asked to provide guidance on their particular community’s social and business culture and on effective ways to engage with other parents.
